Gastroenterology, Hepatology, TX, USA%

I specialize in all types of liver diseases, including viral hepatitis and liver cancer, in addition to liver transplant care and advanced endoscopy. I treat patients with respect and take into account their level of understanding when explaining their disease process. I’m considerate about any limitations a patient may have and try to be flexible to meet their needs. I also make an effort to stay current with research and novel treatments in the field of liver disease so that I can give my patients the best care possible.

I have a passion for medical research, which was inspired by my mentors throughout higher education and medical training. Before shifting my attention to liver diseases, I studied esophageal motility disorders. However, now I find myself focused more on outcomes research in liver and biliary diseases. I also have a strong desire to teach and pass on valuable skills to the next generation of medical professionals. I’m actively engaged in teaching fellows as well as mentoring residents and medical students within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, volunteering, listening to music and reading books.
