Abstract Guidelines
Format for Abstracts
1. Title: (Bold type, Capitals, Do Not Underline)
2. Author’s names (In Italics, First Name – middle name – surname, max 6 authors, the presenting author should be among the first three).
3. Author’s affiliation (Institute / department)
Original Study:
4. Introduction
5. Objective
6. Materials & Methods
7. Results
8. Conclusion
For case reports:
4. Introduction
5. Objective
6. Case description (presenting complaints, history, examination and labs)
7. Conclusion
Format: MS Word (.docx)
Word count: 500 words, (excluding tables, pictures and references)
Language: English (UK)
Category: Oral Presentation / Poster
Font: Arial, font size 12, single spacing
Attach the graphs, tables, pictures etc at the bottom of the abstract for the purpose of this submission.
Use the abbreviation in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears. Use italics only when appropriate (e.g., for the name of genus and species)
Please use mixed case font (i.e. in initial capital/lower case, not all capitals) and proofread the abstract carefully since it will be printed exactly as entered if accepted for presentation at PSSLD 2023.
Tables and Figures
A maximum of 2 images can be included per abstract. The maximum file size of each graph / image is 2MB. The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixel. Graphs and images may be uploaded in JPG, PNG and GIF format only. When including a table it is recommended to save the table as an image and then upload it in to the abstract.
Withdrawal: Written request by email is required
Abstract Selection process
Abstract Notification
Presenting author will be notified of the results of their abstracts via email. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to notify any co-authors of the decision.
Poster size
For poster presentation, we kindly request you to send your abstract in high resolution JPEG format, presented in landscape orientation on email: eposters@pssld.com.pk . Your cooperation in providing a soft copy ensures the visual clarity and overall quality of your presentation.
