Abstract Submission Guidelines

Hey Young Scholars!

Here’s your chance to get recognized and win exciting cash prizes by presenting your innovative and impactful scientific research at the 18th Annual Conference of PSSLD set for December 14-15, 2024! Submit your abstracts by October 30, 2024, and make your research stand out on a prestigious stage!

Abstracts should be submitted according to following format

  1. Title
  2. Author’s names (Please identify the presenting author).
  3. Author’s affiliation
  4. Introduction
  5. Objectives
  6. Methods
  7. Results
  8. Conclusion

For case reports: It should include an introduction and case description.

Word count: 250 characters, including spaces, for the title of an abstract (excluding tables, pictures and references)

Language: English

Category: Oral / Poster

Font: Times New Roman, font size 12, single spacing

Use the abbreviation in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears. Use italics only when appropriate (e.g., for the name of genus and species)

Please use mixed case font (i.e. in initial capital/lower case, not all capitals) and proofread the abstract carefully since it will be printed exactly as entered if accepted for presentation

Tables and Figures

A maximum of 2 images/Tables can be included per abstract. The maximum file size of each graph/image is 2M. The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixel. Graphs and images may be uploaded in JPG, PNG and GIF format only.

When including a table, it is recommended to save the table as an image and then Copy it in to the abstract word file.

Withdrawal: Written request by email is required

Abstract Selection process: All abstracts will undergo review by the Scientific Committee. The Committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted as oral, or poster presentations based on merit.

 

Abstract Notification: Presenting author will be notified of the results of their abstracts via email. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to notify any co-authors of the decision.
